Abstract
Jean Harper is the author of, most recently, Still Life with Horses, a memoir (Howling Bird Press, 2017). Her other writings have appeared in The Iowa Review, North American Review, Florida Review, and elsewhere. She is a recipient of a National Endowment of the Arts Fellowship in Prose, and has been in residence at Yaddo, MacDowell, and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts.
