Abstract
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights says that Everyone has the right to education (United Nations, 1948, art. 26). According to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (2016) education is a fundamental human right and essential for the exercise of all other human rights. It promotes individual freedom and empowerment and yields important development benefits (p. 1).
