International Journal of Servant-Leadership

Abstract

Robert Greenleaf’s vision of servant-leadership continues to grow, attracting leaders and organizations who resonate with its values (Ferch, Spears, McFarland, & Carey, 2015). Servantleadership scholarship furthers this vision and supports growth in a variety of ways, including: defining and clarifying the essence of servant-leadership, inspiring those who aspire to serve and lead, operationalizing theory through application to organizational settings, creating measures for servant-leadership, and reviewing and synthesizing literature (van Dierendonck, 2010).
