Abstract
We began our lesson by visioning her voice, where the voice was going, where she wanted to place it, where she intended the sound to flow, what she desired to express through the music, and what she wanted to feel after having sung the piece. We warmed up with vocal exercises and then I stopped and asked her, "Why sing? Why take time out of your hectic day at the bank to come here and sing?" "Because the gift of music should be used," she answered. "It gives me joy." Clara voce- clear voice -the greeting of heart and spirit.
