Kinesiology
The Kinesiology curriculum prepares students to become professionals in the exercise/fitness, sport coaching strength/conditioning, and health and physical education fields. Students who wish to pursue careers in the exercise/fitness and strength/conditioning fields complete a major in Kinesiology along with a Fitness Specialist Concentration. This option is for individuals interested in working in a fitness environment in roles such as an exercise physiologist, strength and conditioning coach, fitness club programmer, or group activity instructor.Sport Management
Sport Management majors are those who run the show at the sport events—from the planning to marketing and game day operations, those are our people. Our majors typically also pursue an academic minor in areas ranging from public relations, general business, to communications and more. Professional internships are the highlight of our program where students gain hands on experience in various sport organizations across the country or world, depending on their sights.Visit the Gonzaga University Kinesiology and Sports Management website to learn more.
