About the PCLD
The Payne Center for Leadership Development (PCLD) at Gonzaga University empowers and prepares students for leadership and service roles that drive positive change. It offers programs, services, and resources to help students develop leadership skills within the Jesuit context of self-awareness, community building, and global impact. Through workshops, guest speakers, and the Identity & Leadership series, students gain practical leadership skills, while experiential learning is supported by coaching, mentoring, and reflection. The PCLD hosts the Experiential Leadership Institute for sophomores and juniors and partners with Learns to Lead for first-year students, serving over 800 student leaders involved in more than 150 clubs and organizations.
