Abstract
The events of October 7 and its aftermath feel like a particularly bloody inflection point in the century old Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Yet the roots of the current crisis can be traced to the policies and developments that have unfolded over decades, particularly the signing of the Oslo Accords in the 1990s and the gradual failure of the peace process that followed.
In this guest lecture an expert on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict will discuss this history and how it is shaping the present and likely future in Israel-Palestine.
This opportunity is for the internal Gonzaga community as a feature of the Conversations on Israel and Gaza program, sponsored by the Office of the Provost.
